While I love books,
bookshelves, and inventive decor, I hadn't thought of this possibility: walls made of books. David Bouley's new Japanese restaurant Brushstroke uses 12,000 recycled paperbacks to line the walls. My only concern is that books are for reading not decorating, but I guess there are enough bad books out there that this is okay. Looks pretty cool!

Is there any way to fire-proof this?
